I recall a fantastic riverside Hotel in Bangkok exactly where obviously they experienced a shortage of bookings at the time my spouse and I had been travelling via. We absolutely loved our room, and the breakfast on their terrace was to die for. But if we'd emptied the mini-bar we'd have been broke in a 7 days! Fortunately there was a comfort shop inside walking distance; issue solved.
