If you have been convicted of a DUI, you will be real estate investment trust broker required BIL, also. However, you will be required to carry a minimum of $100k. You are a bigger risk to other motorists if you decide to drink and drive again. In this case, rather than an SR22 filing, your insurance company will need to file an FR44. It works exactly the same way as an SR22, but you have to maintain the BIL of $100k.
